Food Stamps Guide

Millions of Americans use food stamps to purchase nutritious foods at participating stores. These are issued through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a federal assistance program for low-income individuals and families who need help paying for groceries. If you qualify, you’ll receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card pre-loaded with money like a debit card. You can only use food stamps for qualified items, though, and EBT may not be accepted at all stores in your area. Find out how to apply for food stamps and how to get an EBT card when you download our free guide.
