WIC Guide

WIC – which stands for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children – is a federal assistance program designed specifically for this population. WIC participants receive essential nutrition benefits like food and formula, along with education like a breastfeeding assessment. To qualify for WIC, you must meet income requirements in your state. You may also need to undergo a nutrition assessment to determine if you and/or your child are at nutritional risk.
